Kertha Gosa

It’s an monument as the remains of the kingdom of  Klungkung. It’s believe to be build by the first king of Klungkung, Ida I Dewa Agung Jambe in 1686. It’s the center of town. it   derives from the word  of “ kertha” means Justice and Gosa Means announced . What makes this monument more interesting is the beautiful of traditional Balinese ceiling painting . The painting illustrate among others the basic philosophy of life in Bali : “karma Phala” . The building in the center called Taman Gili it’ was a place where the king used to host the guest or  to hold meeting that took place a month  " KERTA GOSA " Hall of Justice , located in the center of Klungkung Regency , called Semara Pura Town, in front of Klungkung "Puputan" Memorial. The ceiling of the hall completely covered inside with fine painting Kamasan Style. The story of painting is The Epic of life Balinese Journey of the soul. In the midle built Bale Kambang (Floating Hall), the ceiling full with Kamasan Painting. In the west of the hall there is Museum Semarajaya collected of the photos of the King and family in Balinese dress

 

Bats Cave Temple "Goa Lawah Temple",

the temple located in Pesingahan Village, Klungkung regency. The temple built in 11th century by priest Mpu Kuturan or Mpu Rajakerta, this priest who created 4 concepts of temple in Bali. This is one important temple located near the ocean, specially use for "Nyegara Gunung" ceremony (Segara it's mean Ocean and Gunung it's mean Mountain). The Balinese people use this Goa Lawah Temple for the ocean temple and Besakih Temple for the mountain temple. The cave in the cliff fully with thousand of the bats.

 

Tenganan Village

The village is occupied by Bali Aga people the original Balinese who arrive in Bali Bali before Majapahit arrival. "Pandan leaf war" (Ngusaba Sambah Festival), will be held around May or June and Double ikat or Gringsing cloth well known from this village.

 

Candi Dasa Beach

a tourist resort built in east Bali with a some hotel and restaurant. The beach is quiet and small boat lied a long the coast. A litle bit inside Gili Tepekong island is good to do snorkelling, should be rent a boat to go to this island. It offer the chance to see a lot of coral fish. East part there is Candidasa Lagoon and Candidasa Temple, the temple located hillside across from the lagoon. No Entrance fee

05. Tirta Gangga

Tirta Gangga royal water garden is composed mainly by water, plants and sculptures. It is situated in the middle of rice fields around the natural springs of Rejasa, approximately 7 km. (5 miles) north of Amlapura, the main town of east Bali, Indonesia.Tirta Gangga is a well-known cultural object of Bali. It belongs to the royal family of Karangasem.The area of the water garden is about 1.2 ha (3 acres), consisting of three levels of ground stretching from east to west. On the highest northern Swah level there are the spring under the banyan tree, the upper swimming pool and two decorative ponds, one with four fountains reminiscent of Versailles, and the other with Victoria lotuses.The first thing one sees when entering the garden is the elegant eleven-tiered Nawa Sanga fountain which rises from the middle of the complex. This fountain together with the two ponds form the middle Bwah level.The larger lowest Bhur level, on the left side of the straight foot path running from the entrance to the west, is occupied by the big South pond with the long Demon island in the middle.
