The cycling tour starts at 09.00
This half-day tour allows you to see some of Bali’s greatest treasures. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. A must-do!
The tour starts just outside of Ubud center and travels rice field tracks and back roads through local villages, and rice terraces, as you make your way to the UNESCO world heritage site, Tirta Empul water temple.
The Tirta Empul water temple is considered to be one of the holiest temples in Bali. It was built over 1000 years ago and attracts many pilgrims coming to cleanse themselves in the holy waters.
But as grand as Tirta Empul is, getting there on our e-bike tour is half the fun. The tour travels through rice terraces and local villages. You will experience Balinese temples and witness the incredible subak water irrigation system which has developed over centuries to keep the rice fields green and fertile. We will also take you to a local family compound where you can see how the Balinese really live. The tour finishes at Tirta Empul where a delicious lunch will be waiting for you and you are free to explore the temple.
And remember this is all done on our state-of-the-art electric bicycles. This means you can pedal as much or as little as you want. We make frequent stops and have a support vehicle following you at all times. Our guides also take pictures along the way.
This tour is one of a kind. Come experience one of the most beautiful cycling routes Bali has to offer on this incredible half-day tour.

Overview
eBikes Bali offers the best way to experience an Ubud bicycle tour…electrified! A cross between riding a motorcycle and riding a bicycle, the electric bike is the best of both worlds. Easily pedal up hills while enjoying the magnificent rice terraces and quaint local villages. Our local guides will give you insight into what you are seeing so that the sites of Bali become more than just scenery.
There is so much to see in the areas around Ubud. Our guides are from this area and have intimate knowledge of the special places along this route. The Ubud cycling tour travels through traditional villages and stops at numerous temples. We also visit Tegalalang or Tirta Empul Temple, the world-famous rice terraces.
We like these Bali cycling tours to be interactive, and what you see can vary from day to day. If it is rice harvesting season we will stop and participate in the harvest. If it’s kite flying season we will watch the people as they launch their favorite kites. Sometimes there are ceremonies taking place. Sometimes we stop to talk to a farmer about what he does in the rice fields. This is where you really get an understanding of the Balinese daily life and our experienced guides bring you right to it. You will experience all this and more on your Ubud cycling tour.
We do Ubud bicycle tours twice every day. The tour leaves from our office just North of Ubud main road and heads out into the pristine countryside. Our Ubud cycling tours run from 9 am to 12 noon, then from 3 pm to 6 pm. Custom times can be requested for private groups.
Remember that an electric bicycle tour of Ubud is good for all ages. We have done cycling tours for people as young as 12 and as old as 71. All you really need is some bicycle riding ability and a desire to have fun. This Ubud bike tour is for everyone!
